Buterin spoke about Ethereum updates

The EthCC conference ended in Paris. Among the speakers, there was Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin. As part of his speech, he shared the news and his thoughts regarding the upcoming Ethereum ‘merger’.
‘By the end of Surge, Ethereum will be much more advanced. We believe that the blockchain will be able to process up to 100,000 transactions per second,’ Buterin shared.
Also, in the roadmap, one of the key stages is ‘Merge’, the long-awaited transition to Proof-of-Stake. According to Vitalik, it is more reliable and perfect, as well as less energy-intensive than Proof-of-Work.
